A NEW Mindfulness Matters series starting Monday, October 1
In this four-week series, Mindfulness Instructor Sasha Loring will guide you in simple Mindfulness Practices.
In this course you will learn new ways of:
- Updating your outdated brain regarding stress
- Re-connecting mind and body through Mindfulness
- Living a more consciously benevolent life
- Reversing the stress response
- Integrating energy renewal into your work day
- Practicing simple movements for physical relief
- Becoming less distracted and more present in everyday life
Number of Participants:

Sasha Loring, M.Ed., LCSW, LLC has been a leader in the field of Stress Management and Mindfulness for many years. She has taught Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programs at Duke Integrative Medicine and UNC Integrative Medicine, has provided stress management consults at the Duke Executive Health Clinic, and has led workshops nationwide. She is the author of the books RELIEF: Release Stress and Harmful Habits and Awaken Your Best Self, and Eating with Fierce Kindness: A Mindful and Compassionate Guide to Losing Weight.
