Walking Routes
The Wellness Committee has mapped out multiple walking routes from the following Town-owned work sites. Whenever possible, we chose routes with sidewalks or lower-traveled residential areas. Which route you choose should depend on your speed & time allotted. We’ll periodically update with new walking routes, so please check back! Click on the links below to open a map in a new window.

Walking is a low-impact physical activity that most people can do. When done regularly, walking can help lower or maintain weight; improve cholesterol, blood pressure, & blood glucose readings; improve mood & concentration; & prevent or control some chronic diseases. Walking can be done almost anywhere & is adjustable to your fitness level!
Want to measure your steps? Stop by the clinic and pick up a free pedometer! Generally, 2000 pedometer steps = about 1 mile.
