Virtual Living Healthy Class
Wellness@Work is pleased to announce:
A FREE Virtual Living Healthy Class starting October 27!
Open to ALL Town employees, families, and pre-65 retirees.
Do you, or does someone in your life, have one or more chronic health conditions,
such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma, or arthritis?
Are you interested in a free 6-week class to learn healthy ways to live & take control?
What is the Living Healthy Class?

The Living Healthy class is for anyone who has one or more chronic health conditions
-
Living Healthy lets participants take control of their health in a judgement-free zone, while connecting with others dealing with similar issues

Over the course of 12 classes, participants will learn:

Techniques to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation
-
How to manage medications
-
Skills for effectively communicating with friends, family, and health care providers
-
Tips for healthy eating and exercise
-
How to make informed treatment decisions
-
And MUCH MORE!

Dates: Tuesday, October 27 through Tuesday, December 7 (no class on the Friday after Thanksgiving)

Days and Time: 11 to 12 on Tuesdays and Fridays

Living Healthy Book and Class Materials will be delivered through interdepartmental mail or mailed to your home
